Investor Charter

For Mutual Fund Distributors · Last updated: 6 August 2026

This Investor Charter is published in line with SEBI's guidelines requiring registered intermediaries, including Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs), to disclose their vision, services, investor rights, and grievance redressal mechanism in a clear and accessible format.

Vision and Mission

Vision: To help investors make informed, well-understood financial decisions, and to invest with knowledge and safety.

Mission: To provide clear, honest guidance and efficient service to investors in mutual fund distribution, while promoting financial literacy and protecting investor interests, in accordance with SEBI and AMFI regulations.

Details of Business Transacted

Manan Dua is an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN: ARN-365491, valid until 19 July 2029), certified under NISM Series-V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors). In this capacity, the following business is transacted with investors:

Commission is received from AMCs for schemes distributed, as disclosed under the AMFI Code of Conduct for Mutual Fund Distributors. Manan Dua does not deal in Direct Plans, in accordance with SEBI's regulatory framework for distributors.

Commission Disclosure: As an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor, Manan Dua receives commission from Asset Management Companies (AMCs) for the Regular Plan mutual fund schemes distributed. Since 2018, SEBI has prohibited upfront commissions industry-wide; distributor compensation is now earned almost entirely through trail commission — a recurring percentage of the client's invested amount, paid by the AMC (not by the client directly) for as long as the investment is held. Trail commission rates typically range from approximately 0.20% to 1.00% annually for equity schemes, 0.10% to 0.80% for debt schemes, and 0.05% to 0.25% for liquid and index schemes, though exact rates vary by AMC, scheme, and category, and are set by each AMC in line with AMFI and SEBI norms. Scheme-specific commission rates applicable to a client's portfolio are available on request. For the code governing distributor conduct and commission practices, refer to the AMFI Code of Conduct for Mutual Fund Distributors.
